British Comedian of the Year 2025 – Nottingham Heat

Attention all comedy lovers and cave enthusiasts! Get ready for an unforgettable experience as Ian Whitcombe Comedy brings you the British Comedian of the Year 2025 – Nottingham Heat in an actual cave!

The caves are located beneath the beautiful Whistle & Flute pub on Derby Road, Nottingham, and offer the perfect blend of laughter and adventure in a truly unique environment.

EIGHT comedians (from TV comics to the best rising stars) battle it out to see who will go through to the final of the £10,001 British Comedian of the Year competition – the biggest cash prize in UK comedy.

Each act performs their best 10 mins, and you (YES YOU!) the audience vote for your favourites to decide who goes through and who doesn’t. The power is all yours!

British Comedian of the Year is open to all acts regardless of level and experience. Hundreds apply and only a small percentage are chosen for the heats. The Grand Final winner will receive £10,001.

🌈 Charlie Lewis – Sharp LGBTQ+ comic, ex-journalist, fast-paced and fiercely funny.

🎶 Jake Breeze – Comedian, musician & podcaster. Fresh, breezy perspective on life, fame and call centres.

🤹 Denzil de Cristo – Nottingham’s pun-loving whimsical wit. Surreal stories and wordplay galore.

📖 Mark Vincent – Natural storyteller. Anecdotes, character comedy and political twists.

🔥 Jesse Yanase – Alternative Japanese stand-up voice in London’s comedy scene. Smart, irreverent and unpredictable.
