Ashley Frieze (Headliner)
With his charming, daft, and warm brand of music-infused stand-up comedy, this guitar-toting funny man has been entertaining audiences across the UK for over 20 years. His original songs, with well-crafted lyrics and catchy tunes, span many genres from Jazz to Coldplay.
Ashley has something for most audiences. Intelligent, geeky, silly, and occasionally naughty, he’s playful but never rude!
He regularly appears at comedy clubs all over the country as a headliner and is the resident MC of his own comedy night. His YouTube channel contains original songs, parodies and other strange goings on.
He’s a sharp, MC, and a powerhouse featured act appearing at theatres, comedy clubs, many many pub function rooms, festival stages, and even a moving bus! His solo Edinburgh Shows, The Seven Deadly Sings, and Discograffiti led to the release of his albums on all good streaming platforms (and many bad ones).
A musical theatre lover, Ashley’s appeared in local productions of The Producers, My Fair Lady, A Little Night Music and Guys and Dolls. He also co-wrote and starred in The Musical!, Edinburgh Fringe 2004.
As a writer, he’s edited and written books about performing at the Edinburgh Fringe, including How to Produce, Perform and Write an Edinburgh Fringe Comedy Show and the COVID-19 special edition – How to Write, Perform and Produce a Cancelled Edinburgh Fringe Show : Quick Guide: Complete guide on how to not write, perform and produce a show at the Edinburgh Fringe. He’s also worked as an editor on the Professor Howe novel series.

Alfie is a new comedian, still cutting his teeth on the comedy circuit, but is still making waves with his brilliant, relatable and above all, funny material.
Dan Lythe

Eppie Brilliant
Bio Trans woman musical comedian combining traditional folk music with surreal, silly and thought-provoking themes. Rooted in the folk traditions of Northeast England, multi-instrumentalist Eppie creates unique compositions drawing on her life experiences in the LGBTQ+ community, the challenges of living with ADHD and a working-class upbringing.. Eppie’s performances are designed to uplift and provide the audience with an escape from daily tribulations. Clean, with adult themes, Eppie engages audiences directly, inviting them to be part of the show, taking ideas suggested from the audience and crafting jokes in real time. Quotes Eppie Brilliant Brilliant opened well and continued the good work from there, all of the way through her set. The songs were short and punchy, her audience work solid and I don’t believe she put a foot wrong. The audience requests were handled superbly. This was a light-hearted and fun performance that no one could dislike.

Hazel Donovan
Hailing from Bury St Edmunds, Hazel started gigging in 2022, Her style of comedy will take you on a journey of misadventure, misfortune, misunderstandings and mishap.to being an observational take on life. It’s nice to know that she’s the last person the audience see right before going into therapy.
Hazel is the current undisputed champion holder of the Chucklmania Gong Belt 2023.
Josh Watmore
Josh Watmore is a comedian from East Anglia, he won the Victoria comedy cup on his 6th gig, was runner up at comedy hotspot’s Suffolk n’ funny, has beat the blackout at the famous up the creek comedy club, Bath new comedian of the year 2023 finalist and currently competing in the Leicester square theatre new comedian of the year competition. Josh shares stories of his past growing up on a council estate and into his present of being a father and marrying into a middle class family and learning to adapt and how much he hates it.
