Christian Reilly (Headliner)

The Salvation Army had different ideas… As former integral part of the Perrier award-winning show Otis Lee Crenshaw and the Black Liars, with comic/songster Rich Hall, Christian’s career has taken him around the world three times. On his way, he received accolades at international festivals and numerous network TV credits in the USA, Australia, New Zealand and Britain. Now a solo stand-up performer and playing all the major comedy venues in his own right, Christian uses his dynamic guitar and vocal skills to target histrionic rock bands, musical theatre and morose indie musicians. He recently wrote and performed for ‘That Was Then This Is Now’ (BBC Radio 2) as a musical counterpart to Richard Herring and Emma Kennedy, as well as giving his improvisation skills an outing on Radio 2’s ‘Jammin’. Christian’s comic songs, improvisations, sharp wit and youthful energy have delighted audiences wherever he performs. He was recently interviewed for the British Comedy Awards Magazine and will be appearing in Edinburgh in 2006, performing in the ever-popular ‘AAA’ at the Pleasance Courtyard.

SCOTT BENNETT – STUFF (WIP)

Attention all comedy lovers and cave enthusiasts! Get ready for an unforgettable experience as Ian Whitcombe Comedy brings you Scott Bennett’s brand new show, “Stuff”, in an actual cave !

You won’t want to miss out on seeing Scott’s new, work in progress, never before seen show, which is so new, he’s still writing it!

So why Stuff ?

As a society we just love stuff. We turn on tech and tech turns us on. But this message is at odds with the looming environmental crisis. We’re now in a struggle to take back control, to focus on what’s important, the tangible things that bring us real joy and nourish the soul. The problem is our love of stuff is getting in the way.

Scott is a star of Live at the Apollo (BBC One) The News Quiz (Radio 4) and Chortle Best Club Comedian Nominee 2022.

“Without doubt live comedy’s best kept secret” Evening Standard

Our talented comedians are in high demand and, on occasion, may need to cancel at short notice for television or radio recordings, among other reasons. Rest assured, we will always provide a replacement act of similar quality to ensure that our guests receive a great overall show experience.

While most of our guests come for the entire show, we understand that some may be travelling to see a particular comedian. If that’s the case, we recommend checking our website on the day of the show or joining our mailing list to receive the latest updates on any changes to the line-up. We’re committed to providing our guests with the best possible experience, and we thank you for your understanding.
