Danny Deegan (Headliner)
With the confidence and swagger that you might expect of a North-West comedian at the very top of his game, Danny Deegan is a comedian, writer and actor who has become a regular at most of the major comedy clubs in the UK since he began performing in 2003.
Danny’s tales of mischief and the characters he creates have kept audiences all over the country enthralled as he weaves in and out of the people he has met traveling. His talent and likability coupled with his confidence make him one of the most popular acts in the North, a master at dealing with a tough crowd, and an act that promoters always turn to when booking gigs. Most recently Danny had a script shortlisted by BBC Radio 4
Danny is a seasoned headliner and MC, with credits including work for promoters such as Off The Kerb, The Glee, Ten Feet Tall, Frog & Bucket, The Comedy Store, The Stand and Hot Water
Danny also recently performed a headline set at the Green Man festival in South Wales getting a great reception from the 400 people in the comedy tent and being asked to wrap up for Manchester band “The Doves” after their headline set in front of 12,000 people.
Away from live work, Danny has made several radio appearances, from being a guest on Radio GMR to having his own show “Afternoons with Danny Deegan” on CAT FM in Crewe, whilst his TV credits include appearances on “Made in the North” and “The Adam and Shelley Show” to name but two.
Danny has also also provided tour support for Chris Ramsey, Mick Foley, Dave Spikey & Paul Sinha as well as performing in Switzerland.

Tony Cowards (MC)
Tony is a rapidfire gag merchant with an arsenal full of one-liners, for laughs-per-minute he’s a tough act to beat! His quick wit has made him a sought after act and compere by comedy clubs and promoters across the UK and even for gigs worldwide.
Something of a Twitter sensation, Tony’s jokes turn up in all sorts of places, from greetings cards to The Times newspaper, even if you’ve never heard of him there’s a good chance that you’ll have laughed at one of his gags.
Tony’s likable ‘everyman’ character and wide ranging humour (mostly clean) means he is comfortable in front of any audience and is regularly booked to host comedy nights for the military (from the Irish Guards to the Royal Army Dental Corps to top brass at Norwood HQ), universities, football, rugby, golf and cricket clubs, festivals and for corporate and after dinner work.
Tony is also an accomplished MC and has had residencies at several clubs in London, Essex and the South-West, he expertly warms up audiences and sets up rooms so that everyone has a great night. In 2013, Tony supported Billy Pearce on tour at London’s Bloomsbury Theatre and won the AudioGo Comedy Competition.
In July 2014, he won third place in the prestigious ‘English Comedian of the Year’ competition.

Steve Rimmer (Middle)
Steve Rimmer is a Comedian from Hull who is a regular on the London Open Mic and pro scene. He started on the Comedy Circuit in January 2011 and as far as we know he is the UK’s only working Bomb Disposal Engineer Comedian. With his job he gets to travel the length and breadth of the country gigging whenever possible. His comedy style is suited to any part of a comedy night whether its opening, middle or closing, Steve has high energy and a cheeky charm, with a humor that has been compared to Kieth Lemon.
Steve spent 8 years serving in the British Army (not that he likes to bang on about it) where he honed his skills at entertaining his fellow Troops. He strongly believes that if he can make a bunch of tired and hungry Soldiers laugh in places like Afghanistan then he will have no problems in a Comedy Club.
Steve’s unique background has made him an interesting subject for TV/Radio/Podcast/Newspaper Interviews (links at the bottom of the page)
He is a regular MC at TNT in London’s Kentish Town and has also guest MC’d many other Open Mic/Pro Nights. He often organises Comedy Nights in his home town of Hull and is also a resident MC of Comedy @ The Terrace, a comedy club in Hull.
Steve has performed at many charity gigs especially “Help for Heroes” a charity close to his heart.
