Geoff Alderman

I am a stand up comedian and writer. I got started by attending the Amused Moose course run by Logan Murray. Since then I’ve gigged for over four years. In that time I’ve reached the semis of So You Think Your Funny and been nominated for the Hackney New Act of the Year comp twice. I was also joint third in Dave’s UK Pun Championships at Just The Tonic.

Last year I reached the semis of the Leicester Square comedy
competition and the semis of Old Comedian of the Year.

I have compered or performed opening twenties at many large, highly respected comedy clubs for Mirth Control and I’ve also compered for Miles Crawford’s Joke Klub. I do ten spots for Crack.

“Don’t be fooled by Geoff Alderman’s old school delivery style. He has a clever and original comedy brain and does very funny (occasionally naughty) jokes.” Hazel Humphreys, Promoter: Wivenhoe Funny Farm.

Heeren Bhundia

I started comedy because people have been laughing at me since I was born so instead of letting it get to me I’m working to a point where I can start charging people for it.

Jules O’Brian (Headliner)

Jules O’Brian first took to the stage in 2017, at The Comedy Loft, in Birmingham, as part of a night for charity. A keen fan of Rik Mayall, French and Saunders, Victoria Wood, and Joan Rivers, as well as Katherine Ryan, Tim Minchin, Amy Schumer, and the Brum-based Luisa Omielan, Jules states her stand-up style is “Butter wouldn’t melt meets Is That All There Is?” (a reference to the dark song made famous by singer Peggy Lee).

An English Tutor, Jules currently lives in Tamworth, Staffordshire, and performed a sell-out ‘triple-header’ with pals Tal Davis and Hannah Weetman during 2021’s Birmingham Comedy Festival.

Jules O’Brian was shortlisted for Funny Women 2021, and performs at venues and festivals around the country, telling anyone who will listen about ageing disgracefully, body hang-ups, parenting, and dating. She is TalkTalk’s official voice – chosen by none other than the legend Bernard Cribbins – and her silly writings feature frequently in magazines including Prima and MamaLife. This former teacher’s relaxed and chatty style, crowd interaction and warmth, all served with a sardonic wit, make her a natural crowd pleaser.

Sonja Reddy

Sonja Reddy is a relatively new comedian having performed her first gig in June 2023, helping to raise nearly £5,000 for Cancer Research in the process.

Since then Sonja has gone from strength to strength, performing in various towns and cities, including Nottingham, Derby, Long Eaton and Coventry.

Sonja’s comedy is based around her own life experiences and her very varied job roles, where she manages to combine the discipline of working for a supermarket with the discipline of being a dominatrix !

“Sonja has good, well written material which she delivers with a strong, confident on stage persona.” – Ian Whitcombe

Vix Jayne Leyton

Discovered by Mark Watson on Twitter in 2019, Welsh comic exiled to London, Vix Leyton is a natural storyteller with a keen eye for observation, combining warm, whimsical charm. A Funny Women awards semi finalist 3 years in a row and named as ‘One to watch’

Mel Judson

Mel Judson is the ‘Funny, Frank and Fabulous’ Bradford based comedian and proudly cynical misanthropist. She is quickly making her name on the comedy circuit with her dry and deadpan style as she shocks and delights audiences with her true to life stories and reflections. As well as providing tour support, Mel is also working on her own hour show ‘Spoilt’ debuting in Autumn 2023.

‘Surprising, funny and just delightful’ – Daliso Chaponda

Ben Owen

Ben Owen grew up with dreams of stand up comedy fame and no access to a local comedy circuit, so from the age of 20, he’s been performing hour-long gigs all by himself before making a splash (though it’s currently more of a small ripple) in the comedy scene.

His inoffensive but humorous style of observing every day life has led him to his first review “my mum’s new favourite comedian” – one day, he’ll break free of all the mums, for now, he’s just happy someone’s laughing.

Please be advised that our comedy line-ups are subject to change.
