Josh Reynolds was the runaway winner of Gotham’s very own “Beat the Bat” competition and makes his triumphant return at this event. He used stand up as a coming out device on both they’re sexuality and gender. It’d have been easier to just post on TikTok… but since then they have been shortlisted for LGBTQ new comedian of the year 2022, runner up of best new act – Midlands comedy award amongst others.
Hailing from Malvern via Birmingham and the Isle of Wight, failed musician and bedraggled millennial layabout Chris Yates combines a moth-eaten shambolic demeanour with off-beat takes on bizarre topics well outside his limited intellect. Reaching the final of the distinctly regional Stand Up For Cider competition during his first year in comedy, Chris has been delighting and bemusing audiences in equal measure. Chris won the Best New Act award at the 2022 Midlands Comedy Awards

Barry charms audiences with his unique brand of disarming wit and wry, and down-to-earth observational humour.
Self-confessed comedy geek, Barry took to the comedy stage at the tender age of 21 and soon had audiences eating out of the palm of his hand. Using his own combination of irrepressibly cheeky, and surprisingly dark ,material, he quickly found himself taking the national comedy circuit by storm.
Finalist in various high profile competitions such as Jimmy Carr’s Comedy Idol and Jongleurs Last Laugh Comedy Search, his twinkly eyed, playful demeanour disarms judging panels, industry experts and audiences alike, allowing him to flirt coquettishly with topics that are traditionally a little more controversial
A talented storyteller who uses whimsical imagery and evocative observations, Barry is an assured closing act, with regular bookings at many of the UK’s top comedy clubs including The Stand, XS Malarkey and The Frog and Bucket. His comedy has even taken him to Luxembourg, where his solo show proved so popular, he became the first ever comedian to perform on Luxembourg TV. Barry has recently been supporting Jason Manford, on his UK Tour.
His calm, inclusive persona has ensured that Barry has also proven himself to be a popular and amiable MC, garnering a reputation as a strong and reliable choice to hold a quality line up together. In January ’16, Barry Dodds was awarded Best MC at the Midlands Comedy Awards 2016.
Please be advised that our comedy line-ups are subject to change. Our talented comedians are in high demand and, on occasion, may need to cancel at short notice for television or radio recordings, among other reasons. Rest assured, we will always provide a replacement act of similar quality to ensure that our guests receive a great overall show experience.
While most of our guests come for the entire show, we understand that some may be traveling to see a particular comedian. If that’s the case, we recommend checking our website on the day of the show or joining our mailing list to receive the latest updates on any changes to the line-up. We’re committed to providing our guests with the best possible experience, and we thank you for your understanding.
