Double Edinburgh festival Show comedy Special!

Double Edinburgh Show Special!

Join us for a fantastic night of live comedy, featuring two of the brightest and best comics in the country. Enjoy 2 hours of laughter with these incredible acts as they perform their Edinburgh Festival shows just for you:

Andy Gleeks - These Fragments I Have Shored Against My Ruins

Andy Gleeks – These Fragments I Have Shored Against My Ruins

Andy’s critically acclaimed show, These Fragments I Have Shored Against My Ruins, is a raw, side-splitting exploration of what he dubs The Wasteland. Others might simply call it divorce. With his signature wit and an honesty that cuts straight to the bone, Andy takes audiences on a rollercoaster journey through heartbreak, reinvention, and the chaos of chasing elusive dreams.

Leaving behind his steady career as a teacher, he ventures boldly into the unknown, armed with little more than humour, hope, and a determination to avoid spiralling into despair. “It might prevent me from doing something bad,” he quips. “Who knows? Maybe it’ll even cure my problems. Or, possibly, it’ll cause more.”

Delivered with charm, poignancy, and a touch of self-deprecation, this is a show about picking up the pieces, finding the funny in life’s darkest moments, and daring to hope that it’ll all turn out alright in the end.

Come. Watch. Laugh. Cry. These Fragments I Have Shored Against My Ruins might just leave you in pieces—but, like Andy, you’ll probably be alright.

Reviews:

This comedian deserves a larger venue for sure. Do not miss this hour of pure joy. Still on Monday and Tuesday coming.”

Jacob Nussey - Primed

Jacob Nussey – Primed

Jacob Nussey unassumingly draws in audiences with his deadpan style, sharp jokes, and ill-fated anecdotes with clever punchlines.

Jacob’s debut show, Primed covers his time at Amazon. He divulges their secrets, preconceptions, stealing, job interviews, and why it could always be worse.

Jacob quickly established himself on the comedy circuit, after winning Bury Met Comedian of the Year and West Didsbury Comedy Festival New Act of the Year. Jacob was named by Chortle as one to watch for 2023.Cop-turned-comedian Alfie returns with a brand-new show ahead of recording his BBC Radio 4 comedy It’s a Fair Cop. The audience are sworn in as cops before Alfie shares a real-life scenario from his own casebook. He playfully challenges them to say what they would’ve done – with often unexpected and entertaining results. Policing decisions are easy in hindsight, aren’t they? Now you can experience the thrills, spills and laughter of making high-risk calls in the moment. Fair Cop: Live! is challenging, thought-provoking and fun. It’d be a crime to miss!

“…offbeat, revealing and very funny” ***** – You Magazine

“Brilliantly funny, genuinely hilarious” – David Mitchell

“His charisma shines through as bright and colourful as a twirling blue light” – Times

The Hottest Couple in Comedy bring you the show “BORDER LINEs” which captures the humorous and tragic journeys of comedians Alexandra Krekan and Hussein Ali. (And their cat Audrey) 🐈‍⬛.

Alexandra Krekan

“A joy to be sharing the stage with Alexandra Krekan, who seamlessly flitted from her pre-prepared material to spontaneous references to audience members and the night’s previous acts. Even though sometimes her inherent subject matter might be dark, she managed to deliver jokes on these topics in a refreshingly cheeky and light style, garnering lots of loud laughs along the way” – David Eagle

“Romanian comic Alexandra Krekan was an act for the Monster Stand-Up Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival. Discussing relationships, she was fearless with the raucous front row and delivered a very funny routine” – A Rich Comic Life

Hussein Ali

Stockton Beat The Gong Winner December 2022

He did everything well. His material was unique, his writing skilled, his delivery well pitched and there was a good balance to his set. There was a nice edge of darkness to his material that he went up to, but never crossed and I think this added a lot to what he was saying. There was plenty of laughter and applause for Ali. He’s a very promising act. – Notts Comedy Review
