Ian Whitcombe (MC)
Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, Taskmaster and Britain’s Got Talent are just a few of the programmes Ian’ has never appeared on. The list is literally endless!
Groan-inducing puns, sparkling one-liners and stories about where doctors like to put their fingers mean that this act is a must-see.
‘One of the best newbie sets I’ve ever seen’ – John Morris, Late Stage Comedy
‘Ian’s one-liners are well thought out, clever and genuinely laugh out loud’ – Oli Clarke, Toolmakers Comedy Club
Ian has a natural & likeable stage presence with good pacing and nice jokes’ – Greg Phillips – Laffa Cake Comedy
Adam Beardsmore
Adam is a West Midlands comic gigging up and down the UK. He has performed on Radio 4 Extra as part of the BBC New Comedy Awards in 2018 & 2019 as well as being nominated for Birmingham Breaking Talent Awards.
“So funny and has the ability to make anything work and people have a great time” – Josh Pugh (Mock the Week, The Last Leg)
“Genuinely funny, innovative and disarming” – Nick Page
Rachel Longmore
Rachel is a West Midlands based comedian who has been gigging since late 2019. She has performed both nationwide and internationally. In 2021, she was a semi-finalist in the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny competition.
Rachel describes her act as observational and surreal comedy that encompasses quick jokes. To date, her work has focussed on an irreverent take on Millennial struggles. She often incorporates political and topical themes too.
Tom Rostron
A Comedian from the north whose humour is dark, dry and sophisticated like Haig Club Whisky but also cheap and disgusting like Haig Club Whisky. A witty mix of short stories, observational comedy and wordplay. Combined with a strong theatre background wraps up the perfect performance package.
“Best first Gig I’ve ever seen in my f*cking life!” – Katie Mitchell
Bo Walker
Bo is a new comedian, but luckily for him, he’s still young and able to bound around the stage like a lunatic. His jokes go off at the wildest tangent and you just never know what to expect from this crazy dude.
Bo was a finalist in the Funhouse Comedy show and was recently described as “that one who stole my doritos” by a well known local comedy promotor.
Jim Brown
Jim returned to comedy after an 11 yr gap last summer and is 120 gigs into phase 2 and recently gigged with Tom Wrigglesworth and Harriet Dyer.
Historically he did 200+ gigs from 2006-10 mainly in New Zealand, culminating In two one hour shows in the NZ International Comedy Festival ( both Billy T Award nominated) before a sell out hour at the Leicester Comedy Festival in 2010.
Rahul Somia
Rahul is another new comedian but has just won the Funhouse Comedy Gong show title in Leicester, blowing away the competition and winning it at a canter. Rahul’s comedy is observational as he reminisces about his school days and regales us with his surprisingly funny bullying stories 🙂
